I am excited to announce that I am running to be your City Council member for Ward 2 (Fredericton North, Brookside - McLeod Hill) in the upcoming Municipal Election.

I am a proud life long resident of the North side. I grew up on McLeod Hill and have been at my current address 15 Harley Ave. since 2004. You can often find me walking with my golden retriever “Finn” at Killarney Lake

I am a young entrepreneur with a strong work ethic. I started my first job at the age of ten, going door to door selling french fries around my neighbourhood. I spent some time working at my aunt and uncle’s store (Peters Meat Market on Main Street) and as a sales representative for a national wholesaler (Gordon Food Service). Currently, I am the General Manager of Victory Meat Market in downtown Fredericton, representing the 3rd generation of my family to work in the 75 plus year establishment.

I have decided to run to be the City Council member for Ward 2 because I want ensure my neighbours have access to resources they need from our city. I am committed to being accessible and will work hard to ensure the needs of our community are being heard.

On May 9th, vote Mark Peters.
